Teachers at Uplift can expect the following:

• Shine Through Excellence reward and recognition program
• Stipends for targeted areas (e.g., math, science, bilingual)Campus-based stipends for additional responsibilities (e.g., department chair, coaching, etc)
• Base pay raises determined by performance/ merit vs. years of service.  Formal professional development time (Wednesdays from 2-5pm)
• Ability to teach with like-minded colleagues who want to do “whatever it takes” to help students be successful
• Monthly $200 insurance allowance which can go towards medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
• Individual and state of Texas contributions to Teacher’s Retirement System of Texas (TRS), in lieu of social security contributions
