I am originally from San Francisco, California and I have been in Texas for 5 years. Before I decided to become a teacher, I served five honorable years in the United States Coast Guard as an Electrician and Law Enforcement Team Member. I was stationed in Alaska, Virginia, and California. During my time in the military, I gained knowledge of how important it is to give back to your community and help others succeed. Upon my departure from the military, I attended The University of Texas at Dallas and earned my Bachelors Degree in Criminology.

 

My philosophy is to encourage students to reach their maximum potential by pushing them to think critically about the world. I want students to be able to relate academic material to the world around them. In doing so, students will understand the importance of education and be able to reach any goal they set.
