Biography: I was born on September 18th a number of years ago in Mesquite, TX. I grew up in Mesquite and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1989 with Academic Honors. I attended Eastfield for two years before transferring to Tarleton State University (aka Texas A & M - Tarleton Station) in Stephenville, Texas where I received a BA in English and History. I continued my education at Texas A&M-Commerce where I achieved a MS in Educational Technology with an emphasis on Media and Technology specializing in Technology Integration. I've never married, but have a strong family connection to my parents, sisters and nephews. I see myself as having had approximately 1600 children because each student that passes through my class becomes like my own. I love them dearly and strive to make a difference in their lives. I've had the privilege of teaching for 15 years. Over that time span I've taught English, History, and Special Education in rural and urban environments to various population groups. This is my third year at Hampton and I have the exciting opportunity of teaching Juniors and Seniors Advanced Placement Humanities classes. This is going to make great scholars of your students as we hold them to the highest standards of rigor and maturity. |
