Gene Zhu, Director of Finance

Gene joined Uplift Education in March 2006 and oversees accounting and finance operations. He brings with him extensive finance and fund accounting experience in public and nonprofit fields. Prior to joining Uplift, Gene served as Director of Finance for a United Way agency in Dallas. Gene serves on the board of Greenville College in Illinois.

Gene holds master degrees in Finance and MIS from Dallas Baptist University and a bachelors’ degree in economics from Beijing University. He is a proud parent of a North Hills Preparatory student.
