I have always loved Art and took private Art lessons as a child. I enjoy many types of Art, including drawing, painting, clay, weaving and sewing.
It is my wish to enable each student to develop their skills and personal style in Art within a beautiful and creative learning environment.
This is my 16th year at NHP!
I currently teach middle school Art, for 6th, 7th, 8th grade, and Art 1 for advanced 8th grade artists.
MS Art students have done very well in Art competitions such as PSIA and Jr. VASE. We have had 1st and 2nd place winners at the district and state level multiple times. Go Art!

We have visited Paris, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Venice, Munich, Amsterdam, Greece, Turkey, to name a few, where the Arts and architecture of world famous cities, and the cultures of these people and places have become real to our students, have given them a global perspective, and have inspired them for a lifetime.
PersonalMy interests include Art, Music, my family, rocks, animals, travel, cooking, creativity, liberty, teaching, and looking at the world through eyes of gratitude, faith, courage, and wonder.
