       SCIENCE:  60 Multiple Choice Questions, which are divided into 20 of each topic Biology, Chemistry & Physics.

    • Contestants are given 6 pts. for a correct answer, 0 pts. for unanswered questions, and lose 2 pts. for incorrect answers.

    • The best possible answer is the correct answer

               Contestants have up to 2 hours, but must remain for at least 30 minutes.

    • You may use additional scratch paper provided by the contest director.

           Past UIL Science Test

     

       MATHEMATICS:  60 Multiple Choice Questions in 40 minutes.

    Knowledge and understanding in the areas of algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, math analysis, analytic geometry, pre-calculus, and elementary calculus. Questions will be multiple choice. Problems are NOT in any specific order

    • Contestants are given 6 pts. for a correct answer, 0 pts. for unanswered questions, and lose 2 pts. for incorrect answers.

    • The best possible answer is the correct answer

    • You may use additional scratch paper provided by the contest director.

    • Contestants will be allowed the use of any commercially available silent hand-held calculators that do NOT require auxiliary electric power and as long as they are NOT modified. Each student may bring one spare calculator. Small, hand-held computers are NOT permitted. Clearing the memory is NOT required.
