    follow the link for the essay, "On Morality," and answer the following questions:

    1. How does Didion feel about the claim people make that there can be a "moral imperative" to do something?

    2. How does Didion define morality? Does she say what it is, or what it isn't, or both? Why do you think she approaches the task of defining this way?
    3. Compare the way Didion treats the general question of right and wrong in her essay to the way characters from Antigone & Pan's Labyrinth handle morality.
