Bachelor of Arts:
Art and Psychology
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Richardson High School. I've had a life-long passion for the arts and creative expression, enrolling in extracurricular art classes at a young age that continued through high school.
At Austin College, I double majored in Art and Psychology. My first abroad experience was during the JanTerm of 2009 where I studied Spanish in Costa Rica. I returned two more times in 2009-2010 to Central America to volunteer with the Arts-Education non-profit La Asociación CREAR. Before my senior year in the summer of 2010, I received scholarship to complete an internship with the International Child Art Foundation in Washington, D.C. My senior year of college was far from relaxing, as I completed both a senior honors thesis in Social Psychology and put together a mixed-media instillation senior art show.
So to say the least, art is (and has always been) my life! I feel fortunate to be able to teach and learn about art everyday with the creative minds at Williams Prep.
