I am originally from west Texas. I was born in El Paso, TX the youngest of 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I graduated high school from Maxine L. Silva High School for Health Professions. After high school, I moved 4 hours south to the small college town of Alpine. Alpine is located in the Big Bend region of Texas. There I graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Music. After graduation I  worked as an assistant band director for Alpine ISD. In July 2013 I made the trip across the the state and move to Denton, TX.
I also have a family that moved with me from Alpine to the DFW. I have my fiance and her siblings, 12year old, 15year old, and 17year old. They are all actively involved in athletics, band,  and city league soccer in Denton. Most of my home time is spent helping with homework and driving to and from practice. They are my world and I love them very much.
My primary instrument is trumpet, but I love teaching and playing all instruments.I love watching college and high school football, (Arizona St.and TEXAS). I do not watch NFL. I love drinking tea, hot and/or cold. (Sweet Tea) My favorite food is barbacoa with pico de gallo and tortillas. I love rock and electronica music, but really mostly rock. My favorite band is The Strokes. My favorite composer is Richard Wagner and my favorite film composer is Hans Zimmer. I enjoy watching: The Walking Dead, The Leftovers, Game of Thrones, Tyrant, Channer 4 News at 9pm, Bleach, Code Geass, other anime, Simpsons, Seinfeld, ...(I watch a lot of TV).
