    Cynthia Carodine has over four years of educational experience in the subject area ELA on all grade levels. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas, where she focused on Rhetoric Literature and Anthropology. She began her career in education as an English teaching assistant for the Upward Bound program. Additionally, began tutoring all age groups in ELA for Upward Bound and other school districts in the area. This school year she will be her second year as the 6TH grade ELA teacher at Uplift Summit International Preparatory and is enthusiastic about the field ELA at Summit International Preparatory. “Every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be” (Rita Pierson). She believes in being a champion for all scholars.
