Hello! My name is Jennifer Hancock and I am thrilled to be returning to Uplift North Hills Preparatory. After having taught at UNHP from 2004 to 2012, our family moved to Tennessee where I taught 2nd and 1St grade for the past 6 years. What a joy to be back with my Uplift Family!

I have two beautiful daughters that attended UNHP. Emma is a Global Studies major at UC Berkeley and Hope will be attending Colorado State in the fall to study Equine Science.

It is my philosophy that children achieve the greatest amount of learning when they are able to inquire, use discovery, have hands on experiences, and take ownership in the classroom they come to everyday. It is the responsibility of the teacher to create a learning environment in which children can work together to solve problems and feel safe to make mistakes. The most genuine learning comes from making mistakes and finding solutions.

I look forward to a fantastic year of learning with my second-grade scholars!
