¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español!
I'm excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I'm very much looking forward to a happy and productive school year.
My name is Yessenia Hackett-Evans, and this is my 7th  year teaching Spanish at Summit. I'm a native of Puerto Rico, married to my wonderful husband Gabriel Hackett and together we have 2 beautiful children; Gabriel (16) and Yaneisha (13). I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. In addition to teaching Spanish K-5, I have also taught bi-lingual second grade, 6-8th grade Spanish and now Spanish II and III. Looking forward to this new year 2014-2015!
